Seven years after the end of BBC's The Adventures of Merlin, many fans, like myself, are still yearning for a sixth season, movie, or reboot of Merlin. Merlin's finale, "Diamond of the Day Part II", left fans on a cliffhanger, hoping for another season, movie, or reboot to fulfill our unanswered questions. Unfortunately, Merlin's producers have repeatedly, and respectfully, declined to do so. That is why I am turning to Netflix for help. In recent months, Netflix has been rebooting old TV shows such as Lost in Space and Gilmore Girls, much to the delight of fans both new and old. It is my hope that Netflix will do the same for Merlin, and give Merlin either a sixth season, movie, and/or reboot.
