The 1989 film The Adventures of Milo and Otis has recently appeared amongst the children’s content on Netflix in Canada. Although the alleged anima cruelty used to create scenes in the film was never proven, there is strong evidence that dozens of animals died or were severely injured during shooting. It is clear to anyone watching it that the animals are frequently terrified and that the “stunts” they were forced to do for the film could only have resulted in their harm. 
Netflix, this film has no place on your platform, and particularly not in the kids’ section - nothing can be done now about the animals who lost their lives, but this showcase of blatant animal cruelty should not be given any more screen-time!
