"Top Boy" is a well crafted drama with a huge and dedicated fan base. This gritty, urban and dark take on the streets of London, gives the viewer a great view of an inner city community where just about anything can happen. Channel 4 announced in May of 2014 that it would not be continuing its run of the hit series, despite it's overwhelmingly positive feedback from critics and viewers alike. The show premiered with over 1 million viewers, and managed to keep its loyal audience over the course of the series. The show has even gotten the attention of world famous rapper Drake, who even offered to bring the show to the states, but to no avail.

Even now, nearly 4 years after premiering on Channel 4, Top Boy continues to have a huge following since coming to Netflix and reaching a broader audience and people like myself, who may not have had access to Channel 4 in the states during its original run. Netflix has an amazing track record so far when it comes to original programming. We believe that the fans, this cast, and the creators of this show deserve so much more than a mere 2 seasons, and a series 3 is much needed. We believe that this great show needs a new home, and that Netflix would be perfect for it. If anybody can bring Top Boy back to our screens in a major way, its Netflix.
