Many people around the world see Jehovah’s Witnesses as nice, friendly people. For the most part, they are. They knock on your door in the morning to share a bible verse, to potentially leave some literature, or even to start a bible study. From the surface, the religion seems loving and even squeaky clean. That is until you take a look behind the curtain, revealing the mass cover up of hundreds, possibly even thousands of child sex abuse cases.

The Watchtower Organization (aka the Jehovah’s Witness corporation) goes to great lengths to stay in good public opinion. The leaders in charge of the Cult would often protect the abuser over the child, not allowing authorities to be called when a child has been raped or fondled by another member. The parents of children who have been raped have been told not to call authorities so as to not “bring a stain” on “Jehovah’s name” or “his organization.” There is nothing wrong with wanting to maintain a good reputation, but it should never come at the cost of the safety of our children. There is a database of hundreds and possibly even thousands of Child Abuse cases under lock and key inside the religions headquarters.  With mainstream pubic attention on this issue, The Watchtower may be forced to release this database.

That is why we NEED this documentary to be on Netflix (a popular streaming service) so that more people can be aware of this. The pain and trauma the leaders of this religion ignore has inflicted the lives of many children and their families. This needs to be exposed to as many people as possible so that something can to be done to change it. Children are being sexually abused RIGHT NOW, and nothing will be done without YOUR HELP!
