Netflix's Eden is an anime series comprised of four episodes, due to the initial plan being to make it into a movie. It was created by Justin Leach, who has previously worked on Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

It is Netflix's first original anime, and with beautiful animation and a star-studded cast including David Tennant (Doctor Who) and Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), it truly is a masterpiece.

A second season could not only give the show's world a chance to be further explored, but also encourage other small animation studios to approach Netflix with ideas for shows, leading to an even more diverse range of content on the platform.
