Emily Calandrelli, known on social media as The Space Gal, created a children’s television program called “Emily’s Wonder Lab” that is available on Netflix. The show teaches children about science in a fun, approachable way that engages them during the short, approximately 15 minute episodes. Beyond her ability to teach science in such an accessible manner, Emily (who filmed the episodes while 9 months pregnant with her daughter) is an inspiration to young girls worldwide. The show has taught my 5-year-old so much! Netflix has a wonderful, educational show that provides representation in science that kids don't normally see and it would be a real disappointment if they didn’t continue to create it. 

My petition goal is to convince Netflix to greenlight more episodes of this groundbreaking educational programming as soon as possible. Please spread the word if you are a fan of “Emily’s Wonder Lab” or the inimitable Emily Calandrelli!
