We have all seen the news, social media posts etc about Laura Langman.

Without a doubt the treatment that Laura is receiving from Netball New Zealand is disgusting.

The fact that Netball NZ has chosen to take such a stern stance with a player of this calibre and who has given her all to our sport has many and across the world scratching their heads as to why as no legitimate explanation has been offered?

As fans of the game, we demand that the board of directors  either reconsider this ridiculous rule and reinstate Laura immediately or stand down. This also includes Janine Southby and the selectors of the silver ferns. Players need to be chosen on their merit no matter where in the world they play. 

We urge the current triallists and Netballers in NZ and abroad to stand in solidarity against Netball NZ and sign this petition.

Laura Langman deserves to represent her country. She is an amazing athlete, humble human and legendary ambassador of the game, our team needs her.

Netball NZ must act NOW.
