On Friday, March 10th 2017, Nestle made a bold change to its previously named Wonka brand. They have renamed the extremely popular confectionary company "Nestle Candy Shop" and have provided only this reasoning for the change:

"For around 10 years WONKA® has served as an umbrella brand for SweeTARTS®, NERDS®, Laffy Taffy®, and more. For now, in the U.S., you can find Wonka on our Randoms Gummy Candies. These brands now have big, bold personalities of their own. As a result, we removed the Wonka name. This now allows us to refocus the magic of Wonka to future different product offerings around the world. We are excited for what’s to come! Thanks for being a fan!"

This is a huge disappointment to Wonka fans around the world who relish in the nostalgia of the Wonka name. By signing this petition, you agree that the Wonka name should be kept, and will (DISLIKE) the "Nestle Candy Shop" Facebook page until its name has been changed back.
