The English course is supposed to improve our analytical skills and allow us to enjoy creative writing more.
The constant changes in the syllabus, along with the corrupt marking system, means that no one can ever achieve a high mark, or understand why they are unable to succeed caused by the 24/7 bias.
Unlike subjects that have a guideline with correct and wrong answers, and English mark is determined by the judgement of the faculty who must follow a loose, unclear guideline.
While General math gives life skills and allows for better problem solving abilities with currency, algebra, blood alcohol etc. English only creates a stressful work ethic which causes students to believe they are under achieving.
