I am a huge fan of Dead by Daylight, a game I love for its strategic complexity and the adrenaline it provides. However, lately, the game has lost some of its charm due to a clear imbalance: the killer known as "The Slasher". This character is excessively powerful, making the game environment less enjoyable and, at times, unbearable.

​While Dead by Daylight relies on a balance between survivors and killers, "The Slasher" breaks this balance with abilities that many players find too strong. Currently, over 90% of the matches we queue into feature this killer. His attack and tracking abilities are disproportionate compared to other killers, leading to a frustrating and unbalanced gameplay experience.

​The effect of this imbalance doesn't just affect individual gameplay, but also the collective experience of the Dead by Daylight community. Numerous players have started leaving the game or drastically reducing their playtime, expressing their disappointment on forums and social media groups.

​We ask the Dead by Daylight developers to listen to the community's voice and take concrete actions to balance "The Slasher's" abilities. A small nerf could restore the game's balance and bring many players back to the virtual battlefield they love so much.
