THERE WAS MASSIVE PUBLIC SUPPORT IN THE RMA SUBMISSIONS! 

Check this out for AWESOME!! Nelson City Council received 716 submissions to the RMA Private Plan Change 28 process.
Council counts 'submission points' and they informed Save the Maitai (STM) that 966 points opposed the proposed subdivision, 229 suggested amendments, while only 71 points were in support of the proposed subdivision.

There will also be Expert Evidence available on the Plan Change webpage soon, and joint witness statements are already available.

If you made a submission to the RMA about the Kaka/Maitahi Plan Change request, there are now TWO IMPORTANT THINGS to prepare by 7 JULY: 
  
1/   Written statement &/or further evidence (photos, etc)
2/   Submit a ‘script’ if you are speaking at the RMA
