Riverdale is terrible show that glorifies rape and incest and also queerbaits. The writer of the show is a racist and most of the cast are extremely problematic. In one of it’s trailers of season 2 episode  5 it made sexual assault look ‘sexy’. in season 1 it was revealed that one of the characters (polly cooper) was pregnant with they’re cousins baby and it was hinted that another character (Cheryl blossom) had a romantic and sexual relationship with her twin brother. Another character (Betty cooper) is mentally ill but they sexualises it and make her a cam girl as a way to ‘cope’ with it. The lgbt characters are heavily stereotyped and get little to no screen time along with the poc characters.
