There is this beautiful camp spot about 20 min out of Noosa , at lake Mc Donald. One of a kind spot for camping around Noosa . It got everything: The lake is straight there, beautiful sunsets, fishing , boating , bushwalking, campfires .. It has been around for 40 years . Lake Mc Donald is the water resource for Noosa and surroundings . Seq waters now decided they have to rebuild the dam. Well fair enough, sadly they want to use our beautiful camp as a quarry and the fishery next door as a cement mixing plant. Right next to our water resources.

The fisherie breeds Mary river cot , which is highly endangered. This camp and surroundings inhabits several bird species , frogs , snakes , plant , trees which have been here for ever.. there are a lot of Bush tracks , the Tewantin National Park is just over the road.

so we have to move something to avoid this destruction to happened , just because of laziness and to save money. It’s not worth to destroy this beautiful natural habitat. Pleas help!
