Season Greetings

Before we rush off to our families and beds please pray for those who are unable to be home for whatever reason. Specifically the men at Cheshire who are on modified schedule before, during, and after the holiday. Meaning their promises 4 hours out of the cell is 1. That these men are fighting to get supplies and time to clean the walls, bathroom, and their cells. Fighting to have time to shower. Fighting to have time to call loved ones. Governor Lamont vetoed a bill meant to address this cruel and unusual punishment stating that it will cause undue hardship on staff yet staff continues to not wear masks, not show up for work, and are not trained to setup a google teams visit twice a week per incarcerated person so visits occur every other week. 

Call the governor and ask him what does he plan to do now because our families, friends, and community is suffering. Breaking someone’s spirit before releasing them back into society is no bueno.
