Where is the genuine apology to these men? Join me in writing  to Senator Gary Winfeld asking him to correct the 509 bill. He is the chair of the state judiciary committee who can add that newly discoverable evidence should be enough to grant a petition for new trial whether or not it was attainable at trial as long as it points or exposes innocence!

Why?! The Supreme Court kicked this case back to the lower courts instead of answering if evidence in their case had to be newly discovered or not. The Appellate and Habeus courts states that in a petition for a new trial due to an actual innocence claim needs new evidence that was unattainable at original trial. As long as it points to your innocence or exposes your innocence that should be enough to receive a new trial. Keeping innocent people in jail is costly to taxpayers and their families. Time cannot be given back.
