I am a 25 year business owner in Bethel CT. A Dog Groomer. I am begging the state to shut down Dog Groomers and mobile grooming units as we are NOT essential in this pandemic situation. We are at high risk of exposure as most of us have small grooming facilities and some , like myself , do not take credit cards which makes remote payment over phone impossible . Plus the fact we are putting our staff at risk on a daily basis by forcing them to work instead of possibly getting a chance to collect unemployment and be safe by not spreading the virus . Give us a chance to help flatten the curve . Take us off your essential list . PLEASE! sign our petition and keep the groomers safe so we can have our jobs in the future , for your dogs sake and ours .
