For the past two months , the DELTA State Government have been illegally through the service of a firm known as HERKERBELLA been illegally siphoning or deducting SALARIES from DELTA state Civil servants. This has caused untold hardships and pains to the civil servants whose meagre salary can hardly take them home. All entreaties to refund the monies deducted or stop further deductions has fallen on deaf ears. Worse still the NLC and TUC Delta state have refused to act or are indifferent over the matter and seems to be in cohort with the Delta state government.  The normal practice is salaries of civil servants go through Pre payment audit and computer centre. Our plea is return to the status quo and stop using the services of a company (HERKERBELLA) to pay staff salaries. This is against the norm or convention. Salaries are prepared by Civil servants not contractors whose sole aim is profit maximization, they have no business with staff salaries. STOP THIS ILLEGALITY. CIVIL SERVANTS ARE DYING.
