Ban Neonicotinoid Pesticide in Schuylkill County

The Issue

Neonicotinoid is a systemic, persistent pesticide that is used on plants. It is Killing the Honey Bees and other pollinators. It is also Neurotoxic to humans.  It is also environmental risk polluting the soil, water and Air.

Initially neonicotinoids were praised for their low-toxicity to many beneficial insects, including bees; however recently this claim has come into question. New research points to this pesticide being toxic to bees and other beneficial insects through low level contamination of nectar and pollen with neonicotinoid insecticides used in agriculture.

Please help us by banning Neonicotinoid in Schuylkill County and save the Bees, the Pollinators, and us…
