Oppose the program cuts at SFMOMA
The Issue
To Neal Benezra, the SFMOMA Executive Team, and the Board of Trustees including Chair Bob Fisher and President Diana Nelson:
We strongly oppose the recently announced San Francisco Museum of Modern Art program and position cuts, particularly the elimination of the Artists Gallery, Film, and online arts publication Open Space. We cannot stand by while the museum continues to divest from the local Bay Area arts community and abdicates its responsibility as an institution of cultural preservation.
