Students from across Natrona County School District were recently struck with a new dress code- one that banned tank tops of all kinds, leggings where the buttocks are uncovered by a long shirt, shorts that are no longer than mid-thigh, and any shirts exposing the stomach, among other strict rules. NCSD students were given no input on this decision, and many feel it is unfair and unnecessarily strict. We are calling for the NCSD Board of Trustees to reconsider their dress code, and to listen to the views of the students on a matter that is important to many of us.
