We would like to see justice served for Julian. Please help us fight by putting those involved with the murder of Julian behind bars. 

On the morning of December 24, 2015, in Brookhaven, Mississippi, Julian received a knock on his front door. When he answered the door he was greeted by an acquaintance Marionne Keys. Little did Julian know that the knock on the door was about to lead him to being a victim to a home invasion. While Markonne Keys was distracting Julian, another suspect by the name of Jaquarius Jones had broken into the side door of the home. Julian grabbed his gun and tried to protect himself by firing off shots into the direction of the side doors. While exchanging crossfire with Jaquarius Jones, Julian was shot. Julian was later pronounced dead on the scene when medics had arrived. One of his assailants Jaquarius Jones eventually died from the gunshot wounds. However, Maronne Keys still walks free even after committing to the Mississippi Brookhaven PD to having involvement with planning and facilitating the act to rob Julian for money.

Julian leaves behind a beautiful little girl who has to grow up without her father. The least we can do is to make sure that the people that conspired to rob and kill her father is behind bars. Please I am asking for everyone to help us fight a good fight and bring justice for Julian.

This is the email that I sent to the BPD department and the DAs office: They did not respond. 

Here it is four and a half years later, still no investigation. I last met with BPD on 01/26/2018 about my son unsolved case that happens on 12/24/2015. I even emailed detective a video of a young man confession about my son’s murder.  No one ever followed up with the witnesses that I provided. I myself contacted two of the witnesses, that advised me that BPD never contacted them. Just to recount the event, my son life was taking in a home invasion. When Marionne Keys and Jaquarius Jones conspired to commit robbery against my son. My son was in the comfort of his own home when those two went to his home to rob him. Marionne admitted to the crime and the intent to rob my son but to do no bodily harm, in turn my son life was taken in his own home. I was distraught and could not comprehend how Marionne was not charged from a crime that she confessed to and willing plotted the criminal act. At the time of the hideous crime I confronted Chief Bobby Bell at his home about why would he classify a home invasion as a shoot out and possibly drug related when neither was the case.  He became belligerent towards me and my son after confronting him about the news article. The next day I went to the BPD to have a sit down meeting with Chief Bell. When I got to his office, he had all the force there in his office waiting on me. I asked him what is he going to do about all the crimes in Brookhaven and my son’s case. Bell started yelling at me and hitting his desk treating me as if I was the criminal. I asked for a copy of the report at that point detective Banks gave me a copy of the affidavit where Marionne confessed of her part in the robbery. I read were Marionne state’s that they only went there to rob and not to hurt my son. She advised the she went minutes before the gunman to distract Julian. Shortly after the gunman kicked in the door She then called Julian’s name but did not hear him. She never called the police. So I asked why is she not being charged. 
After I left the meeting, I was unable to speak with the BPD. I was later advised by two of the officer that Bell instructed them not to take any calls from me about my case or they will be terminated. Bell and Banks have tampered with evidence on my son’s case. I never once received reports on my son’s case. The last time speaking with Banks, she advised my son that the state forensics are still backed up and that she submitted my son’s case to the DA office. When I reached out to the DA office they advised that they never received information about my son’s case. This has been a dreadful four and a half years for me and my other son trying to find answers and get justice. BPD has never conduct an investigation into my son’s case and people involved continue to walk free. I want justice even if it takes years, I won’t stop, I won’t give up! I have forward my last email contact with BPD.
