Countless collegiate athletes have lost their opportunity to participate in their postseason events because of the outbreak of the coronavirus. This is tragic. If anyone is/was an athlete knows how hard you work for the opportunity to win a championship and now it’s been taken away with unforeseen circumstances. I believe they should be granted a special year of eligibility to get the chance that all college athletes have before them. This could not have been planned and no one deserves to let their senior season end like this.
