Clemson and South Carolina have played every year uninterrupted since 1909. This is the longest active streak by opponents in different conferences. Do not deprive every South Carolinian this year from watching one of the greatest traditions we have. Think about the kids. Don’t take away their chance to experience one of the greatest games the State of SC has to offer. Don’t take away the chance for Clemson to make history or UofSC to stop the streak. Don’t take away every fan’s right to brag for 365 days. Don’t take away the football player’s passion for a rivalry. Don’t take away the Palmetto State Showdown.
