On June 25th, Vanderbilt baseball beat a depleted NC State University baseball team, handing the Pack9 our first lost in the College World Series. The depleted roster was caused because of Covid protocol due to members of the team testing positive. 

In a weak and gutless announcement at 2:10 a.m on Saturday the NCAA put the Pack9's run to an end. In a tweet, the NCAA announced then that the Wolfpack’s game against Vanderbilt had been declared “a no-contest because of COVID-19 protocols and that Vanderbilt would advance to the championship series.

The first statement from Director of Athletics Boo Corrigan on the morning of Saturday, June 26th showed no fight for our baseball team. In a second update from Boo Corrigan he tried to show some school spirit and detailed what went on even though it has been reported that Corrigan was not even in Omaha to support the team.

Given what has transpired over the last 24 hours it is clear that Boo Corrigan has lost the confidence of the NC State University family (students, alumni, and many more) and should no longer be the leader of the Pack Athletic Department.
