It has come to our attention that there are certain facilities that are allowed to be open and others are not.  I can go to a gym,  to a bar, to the store you can go to gymnastics but you can’t go to a dance class.

There are no mats in a dance studio that sit with sweat and barefeet all day.  In the gym, you are constantly touching the equipment and using the same facilities.  The bars don’t practice social distancing nor do many stores and restaurants.

Dance studios are clean.  Since there is no need to touch everything in a dance studio, safety only requires and mask and hand sanitizer.  After each class disinfect the floor and the ballet bars.  

There is so much more safety in a dance studio that it hard to believe everything else is open.  It’s absolutely not fair.

What’s worse is that many dance studios HAVE opened using law loopholes. Makes following the rules seem like the wrong way to go.  Is that what you are looking for?  Companies so desperate that they are illegally opening because they cannot survive if they don’t.

Elite Dance Center follows the rules. Like all businesses that cannot resume classes/work, they are anxiously waiting for the Governor to open their doors.

Are we just pushing people to break the rules?  That will not end well.

Please allow the dance schools to open. Or tell me why the cannot?
