The growth of Mooresville and communities around Lake Norman has surpassed road infrastructure threatening safety and driving conditions for all area residents and those who travel through.  NC 150 is two lane from Mooresville, crossing Lake Norman over a narrow 2 lane bridge, to Sherrills Ford in Catawba County.  This year has marked several fatalities through this narrow stretch of just approximately 7 miles.  This has long been recognized as needing addressed by NC DOT but the widening has been delayed until 2025.  With the expanding residential growth of Mooresville, Troutman, Sherrills Ford, and Terrell we as citizens need to demand action by the NC DOT and our regional legislators to take control of this situation NOW.
