When I learned that the new laws would only allow citizens of NC with Class H & I felonies to be eligible for expungement I was crushed. I know plenty of people that were given Class G felonies for nonviolent offenses and a lot of people arent sure why they were given the felony Class they were given in the 1st place but they do know that having no more felonies in 10 years means they are most likely not a threat to the workforce. Please consider people with higher Class felonies on an individualized basis. We all deserve to have hope for a clean record if we have earned it. Thanks for your support.
