A lot has happened since the last time I posted an update. 

I have been living with my Mama, Jill, for almost 2 years. She now manages the 2 thrift stores that support the substance abuse treatment program where she has been receiving treatment herself since 2019. She has been sober for more than 4 years now!

I have started attending Early College at A&T. My older brother started college this year and my younger brother can count to 20! 

Every day I get to witness God at work redeeming the lives of mothers and children. I have experienced it firsthand in my own life and now, my Mama is working every day to help women just like her.

Mama leads a weekly Bible Study at work and she helps lead weekly Bible Study for the other moms in treatment. She volunteers every week and she speaks whenever she can to share her testimony and help others.  She still goes to therapy and she mentors other women who are new to the program. She loves and believes in each woman. I know they know they can turn their lives around and reunite with their children because they see me and my Mama as a living example. 

This week, she has started trial regarding the accident that happened in 2018. Please sign this petition and share it with others to request leniency for my Mama. Many people need her in their lives, especially me.
