New Amsterdam is an American medical drama television series, based on the book Twelve Patients: Life and Death at Bellevue Hospital by Eric Manheimer, that premiered on September 25, 2018 on NBC. The series was created by David Schulner and stars Ryan Eggold, Freema Agyeman, Janet Montgomery, Jocko Sims, Anupam Kher, and Tyler Labine.

On monday march 14th was announced via deadline hollywood season 5 will be the final season of New Amsterdam with only 13 episodes.

The purpose of this petition is to make some noise so the network (NBC) and producers of New Amsterdam can reconsider giving us the final season in full; 13 episodes don’t make justice and won’t be fair at all for what we all have been waiting for. 

We (the fans) would want to the final season of the show we have supported since the very beginning to have a decent final season as we just have got season 1 and season 4 with full episodes. (Due to pandemic season 2 and season 3 had to be cut short)

Make season 5 of New Amsterdam a full season and give the final the show deserves.
