Petition's mission: The secret fantastical world of Grimm is what turned viewers into Grimmsters. The series must continue by following other Grimms.

One of the reasons viewers are turning to Internet Streaming to watch unique shows, like Westworld and Game of Thrones, is because of a lack of genre diversity on Cable Network. For example, out of the numerous drama shows and reality TV currently aired on NBC, CBS, ABC, and Fox, there are hardly any shows that fit into the Fantasy/Sci-Fi category. 

Whether NBC knows it or not, Grimm satisfies a need, which can only be fulfilled by a unique show with an interesting premise. Replacing Grimm is a generic police crime show just won't do.

While it is unclear if Grimm is being canceled due to low ratings, this is not the fault of the show. Most of Grimm's run has been during the Friday night death slot. Despite this, Grimm still developed a strong community of Grimmsters.

While I respect NBC and the writers for not dragging out Nick Burkhardt's storyline, Grimmsters are not ready to say farewell to the world of Grimm. Grimm can and must continue. 

Similar to Doctor Who's 'regeneration,' when the storyline of one Grimm ends, the show can follow the tale of another Grimm, like Theresa "Trubel" Rubel or Maya (Comic book series). There is no need to create a spinoff since the show is called, 'Grimm,' not called 'Burkhardt.'

What is fun about this new premise is it allows the original cast to return for specials. Also, it allows Grimmsters to explore the Wesenworld more, by following Grimms living in Africa, Asia, or South America and seeing new Wesen, new secret organizations, and new battles!

If NBC fails to nurture Grimm, then it is my hope Netflix will revive Grimm, because if Game of Thrones record 38 Emmy wins or Doctor Who's 35 seasons mean anything, it proves viewers want to escape to a fantastical world.
