There are many feeling the effects of Student Loan debt in these times. Upon graduation, many students have not yet come to terms with understanding the huge debt they signed up for prior to even really getting their adult life together. Often, it takes a college graduate months or years to even obtain a profession that allows them be financially stable enough to pay the full amount of their required Student Loan payments. During this time, many graduates may incur late payment penalties that are even reported on their credit reports. Late payments can cause graduates to be denied necessities such as a car loan, apartment lease, home mortgages, business loans, etc.  With this in mind, I feel student loan late payment should fall off a credit report after two years to give graduates more of a chance at living out their dreams and even improving the country's economy.
