On September 3rd, 2019 at 5:00 PM PT, Naughty Dog will be decommissioning their servers meaning Uncharted 3 multiplayer on PS3 will no longer be playable. I propose that Naughty Dog or BluePoint Games remaster the multiplayer for Uncharted 3. The Last of Us multiplayer was for the most part unsatisfactory compared to Uncharted 3 multiplayer and it was remastered. I grew up playing Uncharted 3 since 2011; I was there for the beta and will be online for the decommissioning as well. I can personally say that this game makes me feel nostalgic. I met most of my online friends here who weren't toxic compared to other multiplayer communities. There were cliphunters and competitive players that had been in this community since Uncharted 2 and they for the most part left due to the Naughty Dog lead multiplayer designers neglecting the feedback of the community. Uncharted 4 was not Uncharted after Amy Hennig left the studio. The Uncharted competitive community turned back to Uncharted 3 for eSports. Remastering this multiplayer could be great opportunity for new microtransactions, the community, and overall quality of the collectors edition.
