Closing our local branch on April 9th will mean either a trek into York's City Centre, a trip to Heslington (1.6 miles away) or indeed a drive to Haxby (3.5 miles away) for those of us who live in Heworth. Having lost the services of the local Halifax years ago many local residents have turned to NatWest as it is, or as planned, was the only Bank in the Village! We ask NatWest/RBS to reverse their decision to close the branch as it will affect so many people that live in Heworth plus the many local businesses that use this branch for daily banking services. The community of Heworth depend on their local branch.
