STOP! Please read... Our countryside will be destroyed! 

A small country lane, which is close to the Roman boundary! Near Colchester with only 7 houses in a cluster. It’s not passable for two cars, it’s more a lane, not a road! Many enthusiastic walkers use this road. Its a no through road, leading to ancient woodlands, which links along the Roman river and It’s beautiful streams.  A natural woodland is in sight! Nature is created over decades and our Muntjacks pass through the lane every day during the early hours, wild life! Badgers, Bats, and so many birds. Blue Tits, Great Tits, Thrush, Finch, Pheasants hide in the hedgerows. It’s a place of beauty, and whilst in lockdown we witnessed the increased foot fall, which has been incredible!
Admired by all, for it’s calm, and natural safety.
It’s hardly used by vehicles.. with only the water works using it occasionally and the odd car. 

Dog walkers so enjoy this area. It’s name is Hall Road, but it’s more Hall Lane! It’s never a road! A Single track is our way in, and our only way out for all vehicles. With little of no turning points.

There is sadly a proposal to build 49 houses. In excess of 100 cars, these will pass through our lane onto an already too busy road, which is too fast ‘London Road’ Copford/Stanway boundary! Currently only about 12 cars use this access on a daily basis! If this building development go’s ahead! Traffic will increase by approx 800% and our walkers, dogs and pedestrians will be undoubtedly unsafe! Save life’s! Dogs! Animals! Wildlife! Save our countryside! Please help us save Hall Road aka ‘Hall Lane’

It naturally leads to a tranquil place of beauty! There are currently no foot paves, no pavements, not much concrete! so hedgerows and wild flowers are left to survive. This will be destroyed loosing our birds nesting sites. including our insects..  

if you love the country side, our woodland areas, nature walks, places of space, and feel safe here! Mend yourself mentally, Please help us!

Thank You for reading! We understand houses need to be built! But this area is a sanctuary to our local community who need this quiet part of the world to enjoy these outside spaces, especially during the recent lock downs. While families walked and enjoyed it! Getting away from busy roads and noise. 

We see no other outdoor spaces walkable to reach on foot like this locally.. Destroy this! Destroy our health.. mental illness is high on our priorities and we all need to be healthy.
