It's time to draw a line in the sand!

Please help us to hold the local council to account.

We are a South Leicestershire community, and we need your support to ensure the local council does not do a U turn on long standing plans to re-wild the local quarry plant. 

We have waited almost 60 years for quarrying to cease and for this land to be returned to green fields. We are petitioning for the site to become a publicly accessible park and nature reserve. Not only does this protect the land for future generations but it will also prevent further planning applications.

It's vital to ensure that this green land is not lost forever.
