Austin is a soccer city. It always has been. With the launch of Austin FC, Austin now has world class facilities in place for world class soccer teams. With the expressed interest and backing of Austin FC, we can now take advantage of these facilities and know-how to bring a professional women's soccer team to the city of Austin.

The opportunities and resources that an NWSL team would bring to the female youth programs in our community, as well as all levels of women’s soccer (High School, College, Pro-Am), would be absolutely invaluable. We have a unique opportunity to help grow the game and equal the playing field right here in our own city. As passionate supporters of the beautiful game, we have the power to make it happen.
