This branch is the only Natwest branch on our lovely island and with a large elderly population it is unfair and unreasonable to expect them to travel to the branch in the next town which is 5+ miles away. This also threatens the local businesses as people often visit the island branch and then use the local shops, if these same people are to go to another town then this potentially means they will no longer use the local businesses, therefore threatening the local economy. A large number of residents do not drive and therefore this branch is a lifeline for those who do not have access to online banking. Serious reconsideration is needed!
