It has been a common knowledge that a private property traversed by a government project will be obviously subjected to expropriation proceedings. A process too painful to land owners, its like you're being stripped off from your civil rights to own a property. Despite our expropriation laws and the recently passed RA 10752 on determining the just compensation on right of way claims, aside from the lengthy and excruciating process our government agencies executive's are ripping 50/50 split and if you don't agree your claim will be left behind. Like in my case that it's been 22 years since its been taken for a substation project, it still remain untouched. I hope our President Rodrigo Duterte would address these savage ways of his government executives who's ripping Filipino people from its rightful claim be theirs to keep and uncompromised. We still have our Bill of Rights Article III, Section 1 & 2 of the 1987 Constitution.
