This situation doesn't affect me personally, But a lot of close friends and NRL collectors I have come to know quite well.

Last year I had some correspondence with a company in the UK called TCM Sports about an exciting new product They were bringing out.                               

The NRL Player Signature Card Set.                                                        

Unfortunately, They didn't get them out last year. This year the product hit the market with a great response from media and collectors, Although the initial release only featured half of the teams.. We finally had a product a bit different from the same old same old - A lot of supporters and collectors over the years were wishing the sets were a bit more expansive (Instead of the same old 6-8 players in every team set)                                                                

TCM Nailed it.

A core release with 16-18 of the regular squad players, With a secondary team set to be released mid season featuring Rookies, Transfers etc.                     

FINALLY... A more complete team set for collectors, Featuring most of the players from the season.

For some Rookies and Fringe NRL players, This may be the only momento ever available to them for all the hard work they put in making it to the NRL            - And for the fans, Some of our favourite players are in the Juniors or play mostly reserve grade are featured in this release - It's a great product for us as well.

Whilst, Obviously TCM are new to this market and still finding their feet to some degree - The product idea, quality and price point for the first 8 sets were faultless.

Which brings me to the point of this petition.                                                            

It has come to the attention of the card collecting community, That the remaining 8 team sets of cards have in fact been produced by TCM sports are onsite and ready for distribution? Whilst we obviously don't know the finer details, But we are lead to believe these final 8 Sets will not be released to the fans and collectors unless there is a resolution between the NRL and TCM Sports over outstanding licensing and / or distribution fees.

SURELY, The NRL as an organisation can come to some compromise here?   

TCM Sports are obviously looking to do this long term, And no doubt have gone above and beyond spending countless hours to introduce a new, quality product (Collectors have spent years begging for) Into the market. Ultimately promoting our teams and our game                                                                         -

Surely that's a win/win?   

We understand everything comes at a cost, And nothing is free in this life - But to have these sets, collectors have waited so long for become not available for any reason at all.... Well, It's Criminal!!

Amongst these sets are Manly, Dragons, Knights, Raiders, Cronulla, Storm, Titans and last but not least - The Cowboys!!

Cowboys fans haven't had much to celebrate over the last 20 years, There is now a product looking at being destroyed, Featuring most of the Players from their inaugural premiership year... How can this be justified?

How is it fair that half of the collectors can be catered for and not the other half?

Surely, Any disputes can be sorted over time? Surely there is a mutually beneficial resolution that can be reached between all parties - Ultimately, Making it's way to the fans?

At the end of the day, Us fans and collectors are the lifeblood of this game...     

So PLEASE!! - Give us what we want!!                                                              

TCM Sports have manufactured these cards, They are ready to go.

WE BEG YOU, LET THEM BE RELEASED TO THE FANS!!
