My brother Chris committed suicide following several years of mental illness, unfortunately, this hasn't been an isolated case in our area (Deeside) my family and i feel that we could make a difference in our community if we were to open a cafe/well being centre for anyone to come and spend time, talk, chill out, read, meet new people and generally have somewhere pleasant to go. We have approached mind to support us as we would like to reach out to individuals who are suffering from mental illness and hopefully make a difference in their lives. We would like to get support for our idea from as many people possible, please sign our petition to show your support, we need as many signatures as possible to prove to the national lottery that our community needs this. The closest mind well being centre is mold, and we feel individuals who are suffering mental illness quite often find it difficult to travel.
