Amazing people who care about Integrity in our country 

Can I now humbly ask a favour of you all..  Can you PLEASE also sign the Petition for Helen Haines Federal Integrity Commission?

The reason I am asking is because Dr. Helen Haines' Bill ALREADY has a Parliamentary Code of Conduct BUILT into it whereas Larissa Water's Bill does not.

And we MUST convince our Federal Politicians THIS is what WE want!

Larissa is also a SUPPORTER of this Bill as can be seen by the photo attached when Helen took her Bill into Parliament. 

That is because the Greens and Andrew Wilkie have for at least 10 YEARS - been campaigning for a Federal ICAC or Integrity Commission!

Helen is following on from the great work by Cathy McGowan the first Independent MP for Indi in Victoria - and Australia's FIRST female Federal Independent MP elected to our parliament - whose Bill for an Integrity Commission was also taken to OUR Parliament WITHOUT success.

It was Cathy's Bill on which Larissa Water's Bill was based..

I still plan to pass on this Petition as well - but to be honest it does appear that because it ALREADY has an INBUILT Code of Conduct - Helen's Bill is superior. 

Fun Fact:  There have been over 13,000 VIEWS of the petition for Helen Haines' Federal Integrity Commission Bill - but under 500 people have signed. 

One wonders if the people VIEWING are those who really DON'T want THIS Bill passed by OUR Parliament?
