Don't be at all SURPRISED if the Government seeks to do the same to THEIR toothless Commonwealth Integrity Commission Legislation EARLY NEXT YEAR - as SURPRISE is the way this Government rams through legislative changes it KNOWS are likely to be UNPOPULAR.
Legal experts are ALL saying that the Federal Government's Integrity Commission model will be WORSE than having NO INTEGRITY COMMISSION at all!
So UNLESS Australians SHOW this Government in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS that WE DON'T WANT Christian #PortersClaytonsIntegrityCommission this WILL BE the Federal ICAC we WILL end up with!
Not only do we need MANY Australians to support THIS Petition for Independent PM Cathy McGowan's AMENDED National Integrity Commission Bill 2018 (No. 2) we also must SUPPORT Helen Haines' Federal Integrity Commission Bill 2020 because THIS Commission ALREADY includes a PARLIAMENTARY Code of Conduct and an Integrity Commissioner!

EITHER Bill being passed WILL result in a tough, RETROSPECTIVE Integrity Commission with OPEN HEARINGS and TRANSPARENCY which is WHAT Australians are WANTING.
SIGNING and SHARING ALL or MANY Petitions for a tough, retrospective Federal ICAC with family and friends - is something we CAN do to try to DETER the Government from RAMMING through their Clayton's Bill BEFORE the election.
We also MUST ensure our LOCAL MPs KNOW that if they refuse to debate and VOTE FOR an EFFECTIVE ICAC/Commission THIS will be an ELECTION ISSUE!
ANY MP who VOTES FOR Christian Porter's Bill AND VOTES AGAINST DEBATE on either the National Integrity Commission Bill OR Helen Haines' Federal Integrity Commission Bill WILL be at risk of being VOTED OUT by their electors.
After all we KNOW the most influential thing on ANY MP's OR Senator's BEHAVIOUR is their re-election chances!
They rather LIKE their STATUS and their travel allowances, meal allowances, and other expenses which WE the PEOPLE pay for!
