With the betrayal and disappointment that was the Super Bowl halftime show letting down Spongebob fans everywhere by not playing the entirety of Sweet Victory, the Dallas Stars playing the song was a glimmer of hope for everyone.

Given this, we hope the NHL will be so kind as to play Sweet Victory during the Stanley Cup finals game and give us all the show we deserve. Not only would this be an amazing moment, but it would also be a wonderful tribute to Stephen Hillenburg himself.
