All over we see govt boards and hoardings saying "DO NOT CUT TREES" but while expanding highway and making it 4 lane or 6 lane government cut very big trees which are on the either sides of roads. Instead govt can retain those trees and expand road in one side of the road, instead of measuring from centre point of existing road they should measure one side of road (after trees) and expand road. When you expand NH or SH roads by measuring from centre of the roads then both side trees are cut and its huge loss for environment and impacting less rain. I am sure we cannot grow such huge and big trees in our life time.

Recently we see such situation in BH road i.e. Bangalore -Honnavar road i.e. NH 206 being widened to 4 lane and its from Bangalore to honnanvar via Tumkur, Tiptur Arsikere, Banavara , Kadur, Birur and Shivamogga. 

Please make a supreme court rule not to cut huge and big trees and save our mother earth. Supreme court should change rule of widening the roads from measuring centre of the road in National highway's.

Definitely farmers around these region do not need widened Toll roads and need trees and good rain water and its already drought in these areas and no proper rain. By cutting huge trees they are worsening the case and spoiling environment and this is just making money to politicians by toll road fee, road contracts etc and we are not sparing good environment for our future generation.
