Be it for a quarry or a commercial area ,trees are often cut down mercilessly and rapidly. And this time they say its for the construction of a new flyover. There are about 200 trees along road 226 in Dwarka alone. We cannot tolerate the cutting down of those precious trees. In today's world, the problem is not the lack of 'flyovers' or 'convention halls', instead its the lessening number of trees that is the elephant in the room. Moreover, no consent was taken from the residents by the authorities of National Highway Authorities of India. This is an absolute disregard of the lawful rights of the residents. 

If this continues, that zone would be changed into a traffic and pollution nightmare and set the foundation of intense air pollution and noise pollution.

Over many years, the crisis of a withering earth has become one of the most urgent issues. It has united thousands of people to come  together to fight for well being mother nature. Deforestation is one of the most prominent issues, It is not restricted by the boundaries of legislatures, states or countries. Hence this horrendous action of cutting down trees is completely unjustified.
