From a young age, I remember waking up Sunday mornings in the fall and waiting for that first kickoff of the day.  I have been a football fan almost my entire life, and I'm happy to say GO PACK.  As I've grown older, I've come to appreciate the skill and dedication it takes to commit to this wonderful game many love.  

Now I must admit, I am a Packers fan to my core, my arteries bleed cheese.  However, living in the shadow of the Seahawks, I can no longer stand idly by while the MVP award is not given to such a well deserving player.  

I ask you to sign this petition to name Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks the 2019 NFL MVP. 

As much as I dislike the Seahawks and the fans at times, there is no denying what this man has contributed to not only his team, but the league, and more importantly the local community of Seattle.  Looking no further than Wilson's stats alone, he is crushing the competition right now, and shows no signs of slowing down.  Wilson has exceeded all expectations coming into the league his rookie year and continues to set new records and bars every year.  He is also a class act off the field with his charity work and volunteering.

Russell Wilson is an example for all young players dreaming to one day play in the NFL.  Wilson's on the field performance year after year from regular season to playoffs has been phenomenal.  As of week 6 of the 2019 season Russell Wilson is by far the best quarterback in the league right now.  With multiple 4th quarter comebacks, perfect touchdown to interception ratio, and the best passer rating in the league, who can argue that this man is not the leading candidate for MVP.

So I ask you, as a man who stands behind my Green Bay Packers with all my heart, sign this petition to make Russell Wilson the 2019 NFL MVP.  He more than deserves it with his accomplishments up to this point in his career, and is proving right now each week of the 2019 season why he deserves it this year.
