Both superbowl teams are from states that have legalized marijuana. Willie Nelson, tireless spokesperson for the legalization of marijuana & hemp, should be invited to sing the national anthem at  Super Bowl XLVIII‎.

Renee Fleming has just less than 72,000 facebook fans.  Willie Nelson has over 3 million.  It is quite obvious who the people's choice would be.

It would also be appropriate since Willie Nelson is a hard working american individual who was forced to pay his income taxes by the IRS while the National Football League (NFL) seems to get away with not having to pay any income taxes by calling themselves a non profit.
