1000 police were dispatched over the weekend claiming to enforce "social gathering" guidelines. But what we see here is a blatant assault and brutalization under the cloak of enforcing social distancing guidelines. And although witnessed on video, the commissioner of police boasts "the city can expect more of the same" stating police will be back out on the streets once again - just as we've seen in this video!
I think it's needless to say that these acts of police are nothing new and are the "day to day acts of police", particularly in communities of color. What I will say, is that the demand we are pushing needs "every ounce of push" we can muster! We are in a "state of emergency" led by New York City, in which all other cities followed immediately after. This assault and brutalization here in this video - will also be seen "across the nation" as law enforcement revup it's assaults against innocent people. We have been "stripped" of the right to gather and protests and if not "seen on video" the assaults, brutalizations and murder will not be made known.
We have an obligation and a duty to "push hard" in moving the demand forward: lives are dependent upon it. And before it escalates and "confusion and fear" set in - let's act now! Post and share daily within all your social media networks. If you are told about a video concerning police - share the demand and tell them nation wide action is being demanded. You are needed to "actively" be in pursuit of getting others to join the demand so that A NATIONAL OUTCRY will be heard concerning it. IT'S TIME!
