The Department of Justice has decided NO CHARGES will be made for the murder of Alton Sterling, who was murdered on video by two white police officers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The victim ALTON STERLING had NO WEAPON. Yet police pounced upon him throwing him to the ground and ALTON STERLING had no idea why he was being pounced upon by police. Police held him "pinned to the ground" using the weight of their body. And as they did so, pointed a gun in his face threatening to "shoot". The threat was carried out. He was murdered! Murdered in cold-blood and on video. And he never knew the reason... Who among us is safe when police "claiming they received a tip" can pounced upon and murder and the video that captures it, means nothing? Being "unarmed" means nothing. Being subdued and unable to move means nothing. And threats against your life which are carried out mean nothing. Those relied upon at the Department of Justice who have viewed the evidence, say it's insufficient to bring about federal charges. If police are allowed these blatant type of murders by the Department of Justice itself, when the basis for the investigation was because police habitually hold themselves "guiltless", there is neither "safety nor security" within the United States. The question is, "what are we prepared to do" in the interest of ourselves and our children, who have been made to rely upon a system of justice which allows their MURDERS and "wrongful incarcerations" by the thousands? Because those "newly appointed" as head of the Department of Justice have stated publicly, that police "ought be left alone to handle their own affairs" and have "pulled back" the money and resources which enabled such federal investigations. Now more than ever, every voice that opposes these murders along with the brutality and wrongful incarcerations, must make itself heard. Over 43,000 are demanding nation wide action and have signed the petition which demands it! I need you to find others who like yourselves are saying "enough is enough" and are willing to "back it up" with action "nation wide" in scope. Post the petition. Share the demand. Invite as many as are able to join it and become active in moving it forward.
