To date, over 43,283 people have signed the demand for nation wide action against police brutality and murder! Each and every one of you are needed in this very important effort. I want you to make it your business to make the demand known "far and wide". We have come too far to "slow down" now and each and every one of us, must see ourselves as a very important part of the demand being made. You have signed the petition because you agree police must be held accountable for the atrocities being committed. You must take what you feel and what you know to be true and put those efforts into moving the demand forward. It moves forward by the action being taken and each and every one us can indeed play a part in making that happen. Talk to people. Get them involved by telling them "why you signed" the petition. Share with them what you know about police murders and the failure or refusal to "hold them accountable". Explain to people what that means for the rest of us, when the atrocities are allowed to continue. These are the very "first fights" we shall have in making the need plain. For although people don't understand A PETITION they certainly understand the need to have nation wide action. But we are of the mind set that "power concedes nothing without a demand". We not merely "acknowledging a need" must "raising the voices of people" who demand it! Make them hear you loud and clear. 43,283 people are a lot of voices but if nobody can hear you, then the voice remains silenced! We will NOT be silent no matter who insists or demands it. And we will never come to an agreement that the murders of UNARMED INDIVIDUALS are JUSTIFIED. But before we get into that portion of the fight, we've got work to do "right here and right now". Nothing and nobody can stop us but us. Gather yourselves together, connect with one another, and support each others efforts in moving the demand forward.
